Zebrafish Facility
The zebrafish (Danio rerio) is a small teleost fish that over the past 25 years has become a powerful model system to investigate vertebrate development, physiology and disease mechanisms.
The IGC Zebrafish Facility was established in 2005 and hosts approximately 45 wild type and mutant lines that are available to the scientific staff for research purposes.
As a service we can provide technical help to microinject DNA, RNA and Morpholinos into zebrafish eggs.
